My parents are here to visit and we started out the day whale watching at Beluga Bay where we saw tons of Beluga whales spouting. Then we went to the Wildlife Conservation Center and saw moose, elk, bear, bison, caribou, and a bald eagle. Then we went to Alyeska Ski Resort and rode the tram to the very top and had a bowl of salmon chowder and hot cocoa. The ocean was on one side and the tip of a glacier on the other. It was so peaceful and just breath-taking. Aliyah was afraid of the stuffed bear.... but other than that she was a perfect angel. We have had a fun visit so far and we still have another week of bliss left!

Memories
This is a great idea!
1. As you comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you do not have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Have fun!!

Come see the view!
We went up to a place called flat top that is known for great hiking trails and a beautiful view. A lot of tourists come and go up there.... well Cole was hilarious. Every person that came by he would grab their hand and say... "Come see the view!!!" Then he would take off running and the people would be laughing and following him. Then he would show them the viewing spot, followed by a wave saying "Bye, have a good trip!" Maybe someday he will be a tour guide or something... no stranger anxiety can be a good thing as long as I am right by him. Im sure he brightened some people's day with his cute little personality.

Miss America

I had a murder mystery dinner at my house. It was a Miss America theme. So basically all my friends and I dressed up, goofed around and got some good food in the process. It turned out to be so much fun and it was great to have a party at my house and actually be able to fit people comfortably. In Philly we always tried to cram everyone in our tiny apartment and it was still fun back then, but a little easier now! I really enjoy all the girls I have met here so far. They are an awesome group of friends who have really made me feel a part of things.
