Cole was a little bit grumpy today.... so during his nap I was trying to think of a way to cheer him up. Then I remembered something my dad did when I was little. He used to take me on a "date" with just me and him. I always cherished those times. So I decided to take Cole on a date. We went out to a movie and it was his first time in the theater. We picked out some treats and watched Kung Fu Panda. He actually watched the entire movie. He was in such a happy mood afterwards. I think he just needed to get out and do something special and fun. So it was a success!

State Fair
We went to the State Fair and Cole had a BLAST seeing all the animals.
Check out Aliyah's cheesy grin
Yes we even met a celebrity.... the real Target dog was there! Apparently he has his own makeup artist and flys first class. ha ha. Anchorage gets a Target in October so everyone here is counting down!
And then it rained on us so we had to head home early.... but Cole thought it was pretty cool to hold the umbrella by himself. Everything nowdays from Cole is "I want to do it by myself."

Say cheese!
As soon as I pull out the camera Aliyah begins posing and smiling.
Cole on the other hand said..
"Mommy dont take a picture of me."

My kids
Ive just been falling more in love with my kids everyday. They are so precious to me and literally are my best buddies. Though its hard to be away from our family in Utah, we have really bonded and its been worth the sacrifices. Motherhood is the hardest thing Ive ever done, yet the most rewarding.

Fishing with the Bears
We went on the most beautiful fishing trip. The bears were fishing right by us only about 5 feet away. We rode in on float planes and so we were in the most gorgeous secluded place. It was one of the coolest things I have ever done.
