Snowed In

We got some great news this morning.... school was CANCELLED!
So we spent most of the day playing in the snow and sledding.
Even Ty came outside to enjoy the snow
And Dad built this awesome fort for Cole and Ali, they loved it!!

Good Morning

Yes- this is what it looks like at 8:30am! You know you are in Alaska when you need a flashlight to go find the bus stop.

Haircuts

Ali decided she wanted her haircut like her friend Ava's. So here she is with her new do! I love it!And baby Ty was due for his first full haircut.... he sat unbelievably still
But didnt feel like looking at the camera for his after shot. He looks a lot older now!

Ali turns 4

My little girl is 4! She had a Tinkerbell party with pink glitter hairspray (pixie dust) and lots of little girls! Cole and Ty should feel lucky they were invited... because she said NO BOYS ALLOWED! (I hope she still feels that way when she is 16.) I love this cute girl who is always excited and can go from laughter to tears to mad to smiling again in about 60 seconds. She is my best friend and favorite girl in the world!

First Day of School

Today was Coles first day of Kindergarten! Up here it is all day, so I was sad about it. But happy for him to have this new adventure.Here is his Superhero backpack
And his new shirt that he picked out himself. He is very specific on what he wants to wear!

As soon as they had him line up... he burst into tears. He was trying to be brave but was having a hard time. Watching my little guy walk down the hall to his class wiping his eyes broke my heart! I bet he comes home smiling though, he usually has fun once he tries new things.

I smiled and told him how much fun he would have and that he would make lots of friends. Then as soon as I walked around the corner I broke down! Luckily I saw a friend there who was crying too... so I had some moral support!

All about TY!

This boy is almost ONE! I cannot believe how fast he is growingEvery morning his sister likes to go get him and play with him for a minute when he first wakes up
He has some pretty blue eyes!
And lots of teeth
He hates getting strapped in
Loves to hide in the cupboards and mess everything up!
Hes always happy and easy going
And hes learning to walk!

Swimming

Cole and Ali take swimming from the best teacher! It gives us something fun to do once a week since now that I have 3 kids, I dont like doing too much extra stuff. "Maam your daughter is drowning... " Yes every week someone thinks I am just neglecting her.

1. She swims in the lap lane for her lesson

2. She seems too little to be able to swim

3.She likes to pretend shes drowning for fun

4. She loves going under and stays under for a while

5. People are nosy and dont mind their own business

6. They dont realize shes in a lesson!!!
