Train table retails for about $160-$200..... I found one for $15.00

Ive seen this piano for $1500.00 and up... Mine was $300.00

This Pottery Barn kids chair costs about $129.00.... I bought it for $30.00

This clock was $1200.00 online... I paid $150.00


These are only to name a few!


I have turned into a Craigslist, Garage Sale, Clearance shopper. I cant stand paying full price for things if I can find them cheaper. This is something I have done a little in the past but especially since moving up to Alaska. Probably because everything is way overpriced here! I definately have to be patient and wait for things.... but its so worth it!

Partners in Crime

Just when I thought these girls were being so good and playing so quietly together (Yep thats mascara!) Ali's little cousin Libby actually got it on the eyelashes- Ali needs a few more makeup lessons. LUCKILY it came out of Nicholes carpet only days before she turned her house over to the new owners.......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALIYAH!!!!

I cant believe my little baby is now 2 years old! She is full of spunk and energy and sweetness. She had a fun day and a great party with friends and family. Thank you everyone!!!!

FALL PHOTO SESSION

State Fair

Cole was terrified last time we tried to ride ponies... so he worked up the courage and went for it at the fair. Good job Cole!

They loved the kiddie rides and I think Chuck and I had more fun just watching them than if we were riding the rides ourselves.

Heres a little train ride and I was worried Aliyah needed my help. It went about one mile per hour and she would have been totally fine without me.... Im overly protective sometimes!

First Day of Preschool!

CONFUSED?

OR JUST PLAIN SCARED?

The answer is probably all of the above! He had a great first day and he was excited to go back for day two. His teacher is great and it seems like a fun little class. Besides me crying after I hugged him goodbye.... I handled it quite well!

The Sled Dogs

We have been so busy this summer with company! We have loved every minute. We had my parents and grandparents in June, Chucks parents in July and my sister Brooke and her husband in August. If I was feeling homesick a few months back... Im definately cured! Here are some pictures of a fun thing we did with Brooke and Brian. We went on a ride with the Iditarod dogs that race every year. They train all year long and as part of training they do tours. It was a blast. The kids were loving it!
Here is Cole and Ali meeting the puppies (future race dogs) Cole wanted to take it home with him and Ali was so soft and gentle.
This was such a fun time and I wish I had done it with the rest of our family that came. But now I know for next time.
