I read your dads book when I was in High school and loved it. I have always been very impressed with his life, and also the life of your whole family. So inspirational!

Tonight, (or should I say this morning)I decided to see what the Skinners were up to. I'm glad I did. I remember you sharing your family's ordeal. I need to have a few copies of his book. This is so neat about your Dad....so proud of how far he has come. I will have Lisanne try and post it on our blog. I love the phrase, "Never give up" - the original phrase obviously by Winston Churchill, and it's Lisanne and my little family motto. That said, your father is such an inspiration to so many people. Hooray for our survivor dads! I will always love you for that letter you wrote me after my dad had his stroke...I am going to love that book! I have to ask...what are you doing in Alaska? Did Chuck take a job there? My husband just threw the idea out to me a couple of weeks ago and I about flipped. I guess some recruiter came to their school.
