Face painting

We went to the State Fair again this year and had a blast with the kids. Their favorite part was getting their faces painted. They were so excited and wished it could stay on forever!

Baby Shower

A while ago my sister in law and good friends threw me a baby shower. It was so fun to take time out to celebrate baby Ty and get everything ready. I have such a great support system up here and feel very lucky to have such wonderful people in my life!

Here is Ty's room all set up. I cant wait for him to come, only a few more days now! I will be induced on my due date, Wednesday Sept. 8th, if he hasnt come before then.

So you think you can dance?

Ali started her dance class today. It was the cutest thing Ive ever seen! She has the greatest teacher and her best friend and cousin Libby is in there too. She was in HEAVEN.

Here she is in her tap shoes. She wanted nothing to do with the ballet shoes when we were shopping, so I just said ok. Then after she was the only little girl in the class without ballet shoes on, she came out and said "Mommy I need ballerina shoes"

Meeting cousin Jake

Here is a priceless shot of my sister and I pregnant together. We kept saying we needed to take at least one belly shot of us before she had baby Jake. We took this and that very night she went into labor. That was close!

Here is the cute new family! Brooke is the only person I know who had an easy time getting pregnant, didnt get sick, looked perfect the whole time, and had an easy delivery. Oh and she slipped her regular jeans on a few days later. She did AMAZING and Im so proud of her!
It was so good for my kids to meet Jake and see what this baby stuff is all about.

RV

We had such a fun Memorial weekend. We took our very first RV trip. That is definately the way to go with little ones... and pregnant ones! We slept good but still got to enjoy the outdoors. My favorite part was hiking down to the beach. It was the most beautiful place!Where else can you be in the mountains one minute, and on the beach the next?
Ali and I were the slowest ones.... me because of my big belly and her being independent and not letting Chuck carry her.
Our friend Heather made the kids these adorable capes out of fabric and you would have thought she gave them the world! Here is Ali in her princess cape.
Here are all the kids showing off their costumes.
The top of the RV was the favorite play area. Cole thought he was pretty lucky to get to sleep up there.
This is what I did all weekend.... nothing but RELAX! It was so nice.
This is a classic picture. Chuck was supposed to be watching Ali while I took a little nap... thank goodness for my sister in law Nichole... I found Ali hanging out with her.
The best part of the weekend for Cole was the fishing charter with the boys. He caught the first fish of the day. It was a rock fish which wasnt good to keep but looked pretty cool.
Cole is getting so big to go on the boys outings. If you are going to go fishing, might as well take a charter to the coolest fishing spot on earth... lucky kid!

Preschool Party!

Cole is officially done with his first year of preschool. I cant believe how fast it went!
Cole and Ali with their two best friends/cousins Brock and Libby.
Cole and his teacher Ms. Cambria. He loved having her this year. We will miss her!
Cole was scared to ride the horse when we first arrived. I told him that sometimes when we are scared to do something, and we try it anyways, we might end up liking it. Then I told him it was safe and there was nothing to be afraid of. He finally worked up the courage and skipped over the pony rides and went straight for the horse. Good job Cole!
I never could get Ali to try. She was convinced the ponies were going to eat her. So maybe next time?
