We had such a wonderful visit with my parents! They were able to come for 2 weeks and just hang out with us. With it still being cold this time of year, we didnt do too much outside. But it was nice to just relax. The kids love Grandma and Grandpa Z, and I sure enjoyed a break from trying to be Supermom. Its nice to have my parents cooking, helping with cleaning, and playing with the kids. My mom can play for hours and is so creative. My dad has so much patience and Ali can grab his hand and he will just follow her around. I think he played peek a boo for 30 minutes straight because she loved it so much. When they left I just cried the whole way home from the airport. But it was just tears of gratitude that I have them in my life. I have really focused on being grateful this year and whenever I feel down I just turn it around and find the positive. Family is so important and even though I live so far from them... I think the bonds can still be strong! So now its back to Supermom (ya right!)

I saw your mom today at the gym and she told me she went up there for a couple weeks. She just beams when she talks about you and Brooke and her grandkids! That's great that you can look at the positive, it must be hard to be away from such a wonderful family but you're right, it's nice just to have one!!
Ah, 2 weeks! You are a lucky duck!
It's always fun when parents come and help out for sure! Especially if you have morning sickness.... You have such nice parents too.
i am so glad they got to come see you and that you guys had such a fun trip! And if Cole can't live with superman at least he has 'supermom'. see you in only 4 months!!!!!
I know what you mean. I hate living far from my mom. Savannah and Cooper are there visiting her right now. I am determined to not let miles keep us apart- as you are too. What a fun time!
(I have the chills...)
SOOOO SOOO glad they could come. I know how much you love, adore and miss your parents/family. It's very hard.
But now your preggers...so no super mom, just chill, relax and give yourself more breaks :)
when i lived in so far away from my family... my parents would fly to visit me and they would always tell me how wonderful it was for them to be there with me. So i know it works both ways. And because my kids got to spened 2 weeks 24 hours a day with their grandparents... they were so close. An attitude of Gratitude is a great coping strategy. You will always be a super mom!
That is nice! Family, especially moms, are so great!
That is so much fun! I totally know how you feel about when they leave, I usually do the same thing. Way to look on the postive side
